Description

The Sig Sauer ECHO MV35 is a handheld thermal monocular built for hunters, predator callers, and anyone who needs to positively identify heat-producing targets in complete darkness or through obscured conditions. It is not a night-vision device that amplifies ambient light — it reads long-wave infrared radiation, which means performance is independent of ambient illumination entirely. That distinction matters when you are glassing a field with no moon and no artificial light.

At the heart of the unit is a 640×512 resolution thermal core running at 50Hz with 12-micron pixel pitch. Higher resolution at a given sensor size means finer spatial detail, so you can distinguish a coyote from a deer at ranges where a lower-resolution core would show only a heat blob. The 50Hz refresh rate keeps moving targets rendered smoothly rather than as a stuttering smear. Thermal sensitivity below 20mK means the sensor can resolve very small temperature differences — relevant when an animal’s body temperature barely exceeds the ambient temperature of the surrounding brush on a warm night.

The 2-16x digital zoom range lets you run low power for wide situational awareness and step up to identify at distance without repositioning. Eight selectable color palettes give you the ability to tune contrast rendering to whatever conditions make target edges easiest to read. The unit pairs with the Sig Sauer BDX 2.0 mobile app for photo and video capture and sharing. Power comes from a combination of an internal reserve cell and a removable 18500 lithium-ion battery, so a depleted primary cell does not leave you dark in the field.
