Description

The P226 MK25 is the pistol Sig Sauer built to meet U.S. Navy SEAL requirements, and this restricted-capacity variant brings that same specification to shooters in states where standard-capacity magazines are not permitted. It is a full-size, service-grade handgun suited to duty carry, home defense, or competitive shooting where a proven platform matters more than a compact profile.

The frame is machined from aluminum alloy and finished in a black hardcoat anodize, which bites into the surface rather than sitting on top of it, giving the frame meaningful resistance to the kind of contact wear that strips conventional finishes. The stainless steel slide wears Sig’s Nitron coating and carries an engraved U.S. Navy anchor on the left side — the detail that distinguishes the MK25 from the standard P226. An M1913 Picatinny rail runs under the dust cover for weapon lights or lasers.

The double-action/single-action trigger gives the first shot a longer, heavier pull from a decocked condition — a deliberate safety margin — while subsequent shots fire in single-action with a shorter, lighter break. The decocker drops the hammer safely without requiring the shooter to manually lower it, making it straightforward to return to a ready-but-safe condition after chambering a round. SIGLITE night sights are factory-installed, putting tritium illumination front and rear without requiring any aftermarket work. Three magazines are included.
