Description

The P320 XTEN is built for shooters who want genuine 10mm Auto performance in a striker-fired platform — hunters carrying into bear country, backcountry hikers who want a sidearm with real stopping margins against large predators, and serious range shooters who have outgrown lighter centerfire pistol calibers. This is not a conversion or an afterthought; Sig engineered the XTEN from the frame up around the 10mm cartridge.

The grip module is the XSeries 10mm/45 variant, which features a deeper undercut ahead of the triggerguard and an extended beavertail. Both changes lower the bore axis relative to the hand and shift the web of the thumb upward, which reduces muzzle rise under recoil — a meaningful advantage when running heavy 10mm loads quickly. The five-inch bull barrel adds front-end mass that further dampens muzzle flip and extracts additional velocity from the cartridge compared to shorter service-length barrels, extending effective range in the field.

This configuration ships with the SIG-LOC Pro enclosed red dot — what Sig markets as the ROMEO-X Enclosed — already mounted and zeroed at the factory. The enclosed emitter design keeps the light source protected from debris and moisture that would affect an open-emitter optic, which matters when the pistol is being carried rather than transported to a range. MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination) powers the optic on when the gun moves and shuts it off during periods of stillness, preserving battery life without requiring the shooter to manage a manual switch. The XRay3 Day/Night tritium sights co-witness with the optic, giving a mechanical backup aiming solution in any light condition. Two 15-round steel magazines are included.
