The Sig Sauer Tread ambidextrous charging handle is a factory replacement and upgrade option designed for the M400 Tread and other M4-pattern rifles. It addresses one of the most practical limitations of a standard mil-spec charging handle: single-side latch operation. With functional latches on both sides, a left-handed shooter can run the action without any awkward cross-body reach, and a right-handed shooter working around a barrier or optic can do the same.
