Description

The Strike Industries Aluminum Extended Magazine Plate for the Glock 19 is built for shooters who want more rounds on tap without sacrificing the reliability of their factory OEM magazines. Rather than replacing the magazine body, it replaces the baseplate and extends the spring, adding five rounds of 9mm capacity to a standard 15-round Glock 19 magazine.

The plate itself is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum, which keeps weight reasonable while giving the extension enough rigidity to withstand the repeated impact of a hard magazine seat. The included aluminum locking plate — secured with a set screw — replaces the friction-fit retention of a polymer baseplate with a more positive mechanical lock. Strike warns against overtightening that set screw, and it is worth heeding: aluminum threads in a small fastener are easy to strip if you lean on them.

The low-drag, no-snag geometry is designed to clear a magazine well cleanly on a reload rather than catching on a grip or holster. The extended body also gives the support hand more surface to index against during that reload, which matters when time is a factor. The finish is Strike’s BLACKLINE anodizing in black. Installation requires no permanent modification to the magazine and uses the included hex tool. The extension meets the USPSA 140mm race division length limit, making it an option for competitive shooters who run that equipment class.

This plate fits Glock factory OEM G19 magazines only and is not compatible with 10-round restricted magazines.
