The Timney 631 is a direct replacement trigger for Savage 110 and Stevens 200 rifles built before the AccuTrigger era. It fits without machining or gunsmithing — the design is intended to drop into the existing chassis using the factory hardware, which keeps installation straightforward for anyone comfortable with basic disassembly.

Where stock Savage triggers of this generation tend to ship with heavy, unpredictable pull characteristics suited to rough field handling rather than precision work, the 631 gives you meaningful control over the pull. Sear engagement, over-travel, and pull weight are all independently adjustable, so you can tune the trigger to your shooting style rather than accepting a factory compromise. The pull weight range spans 1.5 to 4 pounds, which is wide enough to set it light for benchrest or varmint work and heavier for a hunting rifle that may be fired cold and in awkward positions.

The trigger comes factory calibrated, meaning it arrives in a usable, safe configuration out of the box. Adjustments can be made from there without sending the rifle out. The curved trigger shoe is aluminum construction and finished in black to match standard Savage metalwork.
