The TriggerTech Rough Diamond for the Remington 700 platform is built for left-handed precision rifle shooters who need a competition-ready trigger without the fragility that comes with chasing the lightest possible pull weights. It fits Remington 700 clone actions and is designed around the premise that sub-4-ounce settings, while theoretically appealing, are rarely used in real-world competition or field conditions. By setting the floor at under 8 ounces and the ceiling at 40 ounces, TriggerTech was able to rework the engagement geometry in ways that improve reliability under rough handling — the kind of handling that happens in a multi-stage match or a hard alpine hunt — without softening the break.

The lever on this variant is the Pro Curved, which positions the finger differently than a flat or straight blade and suits shooters who prefer a more traditional pull arc. The pull weight adjusts continuously via hex key from below the housing, so you can tune it without removing the trigger from the action. Zero Creep technology means there is no detectable movement between the start of the pull and the break — what you feel is pressure building to a clean release, not travel. The housing is machined from 7075 aluminum, and the critical internal components are 440C stainless steel finished in PVD Black, a Physical Vapour Deposition coating that is harder than standard paint or bluing and resists the corrosion and wear that key bearing surfaces would otherwise accumulate over time.
