Description

The Unity Tactical FAST Comp Mount is built for shooters who run Aimpoint Comp-series red dots and need a faster, more natural sight picture when burdened with gear. The standard-height mounts most optics ship with work fine at the bench, but they force the head down into an awkward chin-to-stock position the moment a shooter puts on electronic hearing protection, a communications headset, a gas mask, or night vision goggles. The FAST Comp solves that by raising the optical centerline to 2.26 inches above the rail — enough height that the eye meets the reticle without dropping the head, which keeps the neck in a neutral position and lets the shooter maintain broader situational awareness.

Direct-mount compatibility covers the Aimpoint CompM4 and CompM4s. If you are running an Aimpoint PRO, ACO, CompML3, CompM2, or CompML2, those sights use Aimpoint’s 30mm top ring mount and are also compatible through that interface. Integrated backup iron sights are built into the mount body, so you are not giving up a secondary aiming solution to gain the height advantage.

The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hardcoat anodize — the harder of the two common anodize grades, which resists abrasion better than Type II under field conditions. At 3.2 ounces the mount adds minimal top-end weight. The standard rail clamp attaches directly to M1913 Picatinny rail, and the mount is also compatible with the FAST QD Lever and the American Defense Manufacturing QD Auto-Lock Lever if a tool-free removal option matters for your setup.
