Description
The Unity Tactical FAST FTC 4X is built for shooters who run a red dot as their primary optic and want genuine magnified capability without the compromises of a traditional flip-to-side magnifier setup. Where a conventional magnifier sits beside the bore when stowed and can partially block the shooter’s field of view, Unity’s FTC — Flip-to-Center — mechanism folds the optic straight back along the bore axis, keeping it out of the way with near-zero occlusion of the primary sight picture.
The more significant engineering departure is the integrated mount. Conventional magnifiers arrive as two separate assemblies — the optic body and a third-party mount — that are bolted together. Combining both into a single machined unit eliminates the joint between them, reduces total weight to under twelve ounces, and removes a potential point of flex or failure under recoil. The mount interface is a FAST QD Lever machined directly into the body, so the entire assembly attaches and clears the rail in a single motion without loose parts.
The 2.26-inch optical centerline is matched to the FAST™ height standard, meaning this magnifier is designed to co-witness precisely with any red dot running at that same height — including FAST-mounted micro dots — so the shooter transitions between magnified and unmagnified aiming without re-zeroing. The red dot itself serves as the aiming reticle when looking through the magnifier, rather than a separate etched reticle that would require independent zeroing. The body is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished in Type III hardcoat anodize, which is a harder and more wear-resistant coating than standard Type II. The magnifier can also be pulled from the rail and used as a handheld monocular when the situation calls for it.
