The tube is tempered steel, which holds its shape under the compression of a loaded spring over extended periods without taking a set the way lighter materials can. Inside, an anti-tilt nylon follower keeps each round presenting at the correct angle as the stack drops, reducing the chance of a feed interruption in the final rounds when geometry matters most. The spring itself is enhanced over a standard-weight design to maintain consistent upward pressure through the full column, not just at the top of the stack.

The exterior carries a black anti-friction coating that does two things: it smooths insertion and drop-free release under stress, and it protects the steel from the kind of wear that comes from regular handling and reholstering.
