Description

Wilson Combat’s P320 X-Compact grip module is built for shooters who find the factory Sig Sauer frame a compromise rather than a starting point. The polymer construction is purpose-shaped rather than generic: the backstrap geometry is altered to promote a more natural wrist angle at presentation, which means the gun points more consistently from a draw without requiring the shooter to consciously adjust.

The front strap is undercut and the trigger guard is radiused and reshaped, allowing the shooting hand to ride higher on the frame. A higher grip translates directly into better recoil management — the bore axis sits closer to the web of the hand, so muzzle flip is reduced without any change to the pistol’s mechanical components. The beavertail is extended and cut in a high 1911 style, which keeps the slide from contacting the hand during cycling and supports a consistent grip on reholstering as well as the draw.

Traction comes from Wilson Combat’s Starburst pattern on the grip panels, combined with more aggressive texturing across the front strap and backstrap. The coverage area is larger than the factory module, giving the support hand more purchase during two-handed firing. Internal slots in the frame accept rod-style Tungsten weights if you want to tune the balance of the pistol, though the X-Five Tungsten weights are not compatible with this module. The factory Sig Sauer magazine release, spring, and lock transfer over. This module is offered without a manual thumb safety. This particular variant is finished in Tan.
