Description

The Yankee Hill Machine Phantom Blast Deflector is built for shooters who run a suppressor-capable QD muzzle device and want the option to redirect muzzle blast away from themselves and those nearby without changing their entire muzzle setup. It attaches directly to compatible Phantom QD mounts—including the YHM-3102, YHM-4302, YHM-5M2-QD, YHM-4315, YHM-3102-1MB, and YHM-3109-1MB series—using the same locking mechanism as a YHM suppressor, so the attachment motion is already familiar and requires no tools.

The locking interface is intentionally designed to resist accidental disengagement during normal handling and firing, which matters when a device this close to the muzzle could otherwise shift under recoil. Because it mounts and removes without tools, switching between the deflector and a suppressor is a quick field operation rather than a dedicated cleaning-bench task.

Construction is 4140 steel with a Black Oxide finish—a pairing that prioritizes durability in a high-heat, high-pressure environment directly at the muzzle. The profile is intentionally low, which keeps the overall length in check and avoids adding meaningful forward weight to the rifle. Note that this deflector is not compatible with the YHM-3702, YHM-3802, YHM-9923, or YHM-9853 mount families, so confirming your existing muzzle device before purchasing is straightforward and worth doing.
