The Mini Phantom Q.D. Flash Hider is built for shooters who want to run a suppressor on demand without sacrificing a clean muzzle when shooting bare. The quick-detach interface is the core of what this device does: it serves as the host mount for compatible YHM suppressor systems, letting you attach and remove a can without tools and without re-zeroing. That matters in practical use because a standard direct-thread suppressor requires the shooter to thread it on carefully every time, risking misalignment and wasted time. The QD mechanism removes that friction entirely.

The 1/2″-36 thread pitch is the standard for 9mm pistol-caliber barrels, which means this flash hider is the correct choice for PCCs and pistol builds with threaded muzzles cut to that spec. Running it unsuppressed, the prong design does its job as a standalone flash hider, so it pulls double duty whether or not a can is mounted.

Construction is 4140 steel with a Black Oxide finish, and the device is made in the USA. YHM specifies a torque value of 35 ft-lbs for installation and calls out that crush washers should not be used. Compatibility matters with QD systems, so it is worth confirming your suppressor is on the approved list before purchasing — this flash hider works with YHM’s Turbo T2, Resonator, Resonator R2, Resonator K, R9, Nitro N20, and Wraith 9 XL, but it will not fit the original Turbo, Phantom 5.56mm/.223 suppressors, Wraith 45 XL, or Phantom .338.
