Description

When your suppressor is off the rifle, the threads on your sRx muzzle device are exposed to dirt, debris, and the kind of incidental contact that happens in a range bag or a safe. The YHM-4450 sRx Thread Protector is a simple, purpose-built solution to that problem: it threads onto the 1-3/8″ sRx mount interface and keeps those threads clean and undamaged until you are ready to attach your suppressor again.

YHM machines this protector from 4140 steel rather than aluminum, which matters here because thread protectors take torque and occasional abuse that softer materials don’t handle as well over time. The Black Oxide finish provides a baseline level of corrosion resistance and keeps the part visually consistent with the rest of the sRx system. At just under half an ounce and slightly over half an inch in length, it adds no meaningful bulk to a stored or staged rifle.

Compatibility extends beyond the sRx Hub Q.D. Adapter to any suppressor mounting system using the 1-3/8″ thread pitch, so if you run multiple suppressors or mounts built to that standard, one of these covers all of them. It is made in the USA at YHM’s Easthampton, Massachusetts facility.
