Attaching a tripod or support system to an M-LOK handguard used to mean compromising on mounting position or dealing with adapters that introduce slop. The Yankee Hill Machine Arca-Swiss M-LOK Rail Assembly solves that by adding a continuous Arca-Swiss dovetail surface directly to whatever slot position works best for your hold, your bipod placement, or your bag-riding technique. Because the dovetail runs the full length of the rail rather than presenting a fixed attachment point, you can slide a clamp to exactly the position that balances the rifle rather than accepting whatever a fixed stud dictates.

The rail is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in a hard-coat anodize, which gives the surface meaningful resistance to the abrasion that comes from repeatedly clamping and unclamping tripod heads and arca plates. At 1.44 ounces, it adds almost nothing to a build where weight is already being managed carefully. The 1.5-inch width is broad enough to seat most Arca-style clamps squarely, and YHM confirms compatibility with the Really Right Stuff dovetail standard, which is the geometry a large portion of precision and field photography tripod hardware is built around — meaning the same head that serves a camera works on this rail without an adapter.

Installation uses the existing M-LOK slot pattern on the handguard, so no drilling or permanent modification is involved. The assembly ships ready to mount and is made in the United States at YHM’s Easthampton, Massachusetts facility.
