Description

The Turbo T3 is Yankee Hill Machine’s answer to a specific complaint that accumulated around the T2: blowback. The core change is internal — YHM redesigned the baffle geometry so that the baffle immediately behind the blast baffle vents gas forward rather than allowing pressure to cycle rearward through the action. The practical effect is less gas returning to the shooter’s face and a cleaner host firearm after sustained use. That improvement doesn’t come at the expense of the platform’s durability; the body is machined from heat-treated 17-4 stainless steel, and the blast baffle itself is heat-treated 718 Inconel, a nickel superalloy that handles the repeated thermal shock at the muzzle end better than conventional stainless. Together, those materials support full-auto rated use without the suppressor being the limiting factor in your round count.

The mount system is worth understanding before you buy. The suppressor ships with a Phantom Q.D. muzzle brake, a Phantom Q.D. adapter, and two suppressor wrenches, so it’s ready to run on a 1/2″-28 host out of the box. The rear of the suppressor also carries a HUB 1 3/8×24 thread pattern, which means you can fit industry-standard adapter hardware if you want to move this can to a different mount system later without being locked into the Phantom ecosystem. The Matte Black Cerakote finish handles heat and handling without requiring much maintenance. Minimum barrel length for this caliber is 10 inches, which makes it a practical fit across the range of common AR-platform builds.
