Description

The Nocpix BOLT P25R is a thermal weapon sight built for hunters who want integrated rangefinding capability without stepping into the ACE series price bracket. It is designed to mount on standard 30 mm rings, so it installs exactly like a conventional day scope and works on bolt-action or semi-automatic platforms without adapters or special hardware.

At the heart of the optic is a 256×192 thermal sensor with 12 µm pixel pitch running at 50 Hz — the frame rate matters here because it keeps moving targets rendered smoothly rather than as a stuttering thermal smear, which is a real consideration when tracking hogs or coyotes at night. The 25 mm F/1.0 germanium objective gathers light aggressively, which translates to a detection range the manufacturer rates out to 1,970 yards. The 1024×768 AMOLED display then renders that sensor data at a resolution well above the sensor itself, giving the image a cleaner, sharper presentation than a lower-resolution screen would produce from the same source.

The built-in laser rangefinder reaches to 1,300 yards and feeds a ballistic calculator, so the distance you measure and the holdover you need are handled in the same device rather than across two pieces of gear.
