The GBRS Group 2.91 FTC Magnifier Mount in Black is built for shooters running a GBRS Group Hydra Mounting System who want a magnifier immediately available without the compromises of a traditional flip-to-side mount. Where a flip-to-side arrangement parks the magnifier off the rail and partially in the shooter’s peripheral view, the Flip-to-Center design stows the magnifier directly below the bore axis and within the receiver’s footprint, so when it’s down it genuinely disappears from the sight picture rather than hovering at the edge of it.

Deployment and stowage rely on a force-to-overcome mechanism rather than a latch or button. There is nothing to unlock — you push the magnifier into position and it holds there under spring tension. This matters in a moment of stress because the action is the same every time and requires no fine motor search for a release. The 2.91-inch centerline height is the key figure: it matches the GBRS Group Hydra system’s optic height so the magnifier sits co-witnessed with the primary optic rather than requiring a chin-weld adjustment when it flips up.

The mount is machined from 7075-T6 aluminum and finished with a Type III hardcoat anodize, which is the same specification used on mil-spec component surfaces where abrasion resistance under sustained use matters. The OMNI ring accepts a wide range of current magnifiers from EOTech, Holosun, Sig Sauer, Trijicon, and Vortex — the Holosun HM3X and HM3XT compatibility applies to units manufactured as of June 2024 and later.
