Description
The Arisaka Defense Offset Optic Plate 5 is a dedicated mounting plate for the Arisaka Offset Optic Mount, built for shooters who run a weapon-mounted light or laser on their primary rail and need their red dot shifted to the side rather than sitting on top. The offset arrangement keeps the optic accessible without forcing a trade-off between your light position and your sight line.
Plate 5 is cut specifically for the Aimpoint Micro footprint, covering the T1, T2, H1, and H2 variants. It also accepts the SIG Romeo 4 and Romeo 5 — though not the Romeo 5X — and a number of Holosun micro red dots including the HS403 (excluding the A variant), HS503, HS515, HS515, and HS530, as well as the Vortex Crossfire. The shared footprint among these sights means you can swap optics without changing the mount itself, which matters if you standardize across multiple platforms.
The plate ships in a standard height configuration and carries an anodized finish that matches the matte black look common to Arisaka’s broader accessory line. Anodizing bonds to the aluminum at the surface level rather than sitting on top of it, so the finish holds up to the kind of incidental contact that strips paint. Installation drops the plate into the Arisaka Offset Optic Mount base — sold separately — and the whole system stays compact enough that it does not meaningfully shift the firearm’s balance.
At its price point this is a purpose-built solution for a specific mounting problem, and it does that job without unnecessary bulk or complexity.
