Description

The Shield Arms +5/+4 Magazine Extension is built for Glock 19 and Glock 23 owners who want more rounds on board without swapping to a larger-frame pistol. Fitted to an OEM 15-round Glock 19 magazine, it brings total capacity to 20 rounds; on an OEM 13-round Glock 23 magazine, it adds four rounds to the stack. The difference in gain between the two comes down to case length — the 9mm round is shorter than the .40 S&W, so the same physical extension accommodates one additional round.

The body is machined from billet 6061 aluminum and finished in Type 2 anodized ODA Green. Aluminum at this grade handles the mechanical stress of repeated insertions and drops without the brittleness of cheaper castings, and Type 2 anodizing creates a hard, corrosion-resistant surface that holds color through hard use. The ODA Green finish is the same tone associated with Special Forces kit, which is where the colorway takes its name.
