The core of how it works is Sound Activated Compression (SAC) technology, which detects loud impulse noise and compresses it to a safe level in a split second, then restores normal ambient sound almost immediately—so you hear what’s happening around you between shots rather than sitting in a muffled silence.

Two hi-gain omnidirectional microphones pick up sound from all directions, which matters when you’re trying to follow range commands, stay aware of others near you, or simply hold a conversation without pulling the muffs off. The full dynamic-range HD speakers inside the cups translate that pickup into clear, balanced audio rather than the thin or tinny reproduction common to basic electronic muffs. The housing itself is built with a bonded rubber coating that damps vibration and incidental contact noise—the kind that travels through the cup structure when you shoulder a rifle and the stock brushes the earcup.
