Description

The Shield Arms Revolver Optic Conversion is built for shooters who want to run a miniature red dot on a small-frame Smith & Wesson revolver without permanent modification to the gun. Revolvers in this category have no slide to mill, so mounting a dot has historically meant swapping the rear sight for a compromised riser or going without. The R.O.C. solves that by replacing the rear sight entirely with a dedicated aluminum mount that positions an RMSc-footprint optic at a usable height above the frame.

The RMSc footprint is a compact standard suited to the narrow topstrap of these revolvers — a larger footprint would overhang the frame and create clearance problems with the cylinder. Aluminum construction keeps weight low, which matters on a carry gun that is already chosen for its light frame, and the anodized finish resists the sweat and handling wear that a pocket or ankle carry gun sees over time.

Compatibility spans the 442, 642, 432, 43C, and 351C, all of which share the same topstrap geometry.
