Description
The C&H Precision adapter plate for the Walther Defense PDP 1.0 solves a straightforward problem: the PDP’s factory optic cut does not accept Trijicon RMR, SRO, RMR HD, or Holosun 407C, 507C, 507Comp, and 508T footprints directly. This plate bridges that gap, letting owners of the 1.0-cut PDP mount the optic of their choice without committing to slide milling.
The plate itself is machined from 6061 aluminum and finished in MIL-SPEC Type III hard anodize. That anodize process produces a surface hardness well above raw aluminum, which matters for a component that sees repeated slide cycling and holster wear. The mounting hardware is where C&H’s design puts in extra work: replaceable 416 stainless steel T-nuts thread into the plate from below, giving the optic screws substantially more thread engagement than a tapped aluminum hole alone would provide. Because the T-nuts and screws are replaceable, damage to a thread doesn’t mean replacing the plate.
The kit ships with multiple optic screw lengths for each supported footprint — the geometry of RMR, SRO, RMR HD, Holosun 507C, 508T, and the C&H COMP, EDC-XL, and COMP MAX bodies all differ in deck height, so the correct screw length keeps clamp load where it belongs without bottoming out or leaving engagement short. C&H recommends dry-fitting all hardware before final installation to catch any tolerance stack between the slide cut, plate, and optic before thread locker goes on. Iron sight compatibility after plate installation depends on your specific optic height and slide configuration; C&H’s support team can help work through co-witness requirements if needed.
