Description

The FAST Micro-SB is Unity Tactical’s answer to a specific problem: running a micro red dot at a height that works with modern carbine technique without giving up backup iron sights in the process. The mount raises compatible optics to a 2.26-inch optical centerline, which puts the sight line where it needs to be for a heads-up, chin-to-stock cheekweld rather than the neck-craning position that lower mounting heights can force. That height also lines up correctly with Unity’s own FAST Flip-to-Center magnifier mounts, so adding a magnifier later doesn’t require rethinking the whole optic package.

Where the Micro-SB separates itself from the standard FAST Micro and Micro-S is the built-in backup iron sight system. Front and rear BUIS are integrated directly into the mount body, fully adjustable, and do not consume additional rail space ahead of or behind the optic. This matters because a magnifier mount occupying the rail leaves little room for stand-alone BUIS — the Micro-SB solves that by consolidating the function into a single unit. The mount is designed around the footprints of the Aimpoint CompM5s, CompM5b, and Duty RDS, secured via a two cross-bolt rail clamp. The finish is anodized black throughout, matching the FST-MSBB designation.
