Description

The Reptilia ROF-90 is built for shooters who run a magnified optic on a Geissele Super Precision 30mm mount and want a fast, reliable path to a non-magnified aiming solution without adding a separate offset mount system. Rather than attaching to a rail or handguard, the ROF-90 replaces the top half of the front ring on the Geissele Super Precision mount itself, which keeps the Trijicon RMR positioned close to the bore centerline and avoids the bulk and leverage penalty that comes with conventional offset mounts.

The 12 o’clock mounting position matters practically: with the RMR zeroed independently, the shooter can transition to close-range targets without losing the magnified optic’s zero, and the same setup supports a dual-zero strategy where the RMR is dialed for a subsonic load — such as 300 AAC Blackout — while the primary scope stays set for a supersonic cartridge. The ROF-90 adds 34 grams to the overall assembly, a figure that reflects the design priority of minimizing weight rather than simply minimizing parts count.

Construction is 7075-T6 aluminum throughout, the same alloy grade common in precision firearm components where strength-to-weight ratio is the deciding factor. The Flat Dark Earth Anodized finish coordinates with common FDE-configured rifles and handguards. Mounting hardware is included. Made in the USA.
