Description

The Accu-Tac BR-4 G2 is built for precision rifle shooters who work from the prone position or a shooting bench and need a bipod that earns its place on the rifle rather than just occupying it. The BR-4 designation puts it at the shorter, lighter end of the Accu-Tac line, which means less mass forward of the action — a genuine trade-off worth understanding. You give up some of the reach that taller bipods offer when shooting from elevated or uneven terrain, but you gain a lower center of gravity and a more compact package that suits dedicated precision and competition work where height matters less than repeatable stability.

The legs are spring-loaded and notched into five height positions, each one locking positively so there is no creep or uncertainty once you have set your elevation. A separate cant adjustment with a locking lever lets you level the rifle independently of the legs — useful on any surface that is not perfectly flat, which describes most real shooting positions. Both adjustments are designed to be made one-handed, so you are not taking your support hand off the stock to reconfigure the platform mid-stage.

The mount is an Arca-Swiss Specification Quick Detach design: a single lever clamps to any standard Arca-style rail and releases the same way, with no tools and no separate hardware to lose in the field. The entire bipod is machined from 6061-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum billet in the USA and finished in FDE Type III hard anodizing, which is a thicker, harder coat than standard anodizing and provides meaningful corrosion resistance without adding weight.
