Description

The American Defense Manufacturing AD-AEMS is a quick-detach replacement mount built specifically for the Holosun AEMS red dot. It exists for shooters who want to pull the optic off a rifle quickly — for storage, transport, or switching between hosts — without resighting every time they reinstall it. The patented QD Auto Lock lever accomplishes that: it clamps the mount to a Picatinny rail with enough consistent tension that the optic returns to zero after removal, and it does so without any proprietary tools. You can set the lever tension with a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver, and the lever itself can be oriented to lock toward the front or the rear of the rail depending on your preference or clearance constraints.

The absolute co-witness height positions the optic so that standard-height iron sights appear in the lower portion of the AEMS window. That relationship matters for shooters who rely on irons as a backup — if the dot fails, you can index through the same sight picture rather than lifting or dropping your cheek weld to find a different plane. The mount weighs 2.5 ounces, which keeps the addition to your rifle minimal.

Construction is CNC-machined 6061-T6 aluminum finished in a hard coat Type 3 Mil-Spec anodize. That anodize standard produces a surface hard enough to resist the kind of handling wear that bare aluminum would not. ADM also accounts for rail tolerance variation: the clamping mechanism adjusts to grip both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems rather than relying on a single fixed dimension. The mount carries ADM’s lifetime warranty and is made in the USA. Note that mounting hardware is not included — use the factory screws from your Holosun AEMS.
