Description

The American Defense Mfg. AD-AEMS is a quick-detach replacement mount built specifically for the Holosun AEMS Red Dot, designed for shooters who need to move an optic between platforms without losing zero. The 2.33-inch night vision height positions the optic at the correct optical axis for use with night vision devices mounted in front of the sight, keeping the shooter in a natural cheek weld rather than forcing a compromised head position.

The mount is precision CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminum and finished in hard coat Type 3 Mil-Spec anodize — a surface treatment that is significantly harder and more abrasion-resistant than standard anodize, which matters when a mount is being repeatedly removed and reinstalled under field conditions. At 2.8 ounces, it adds minimal weight to the host weapon.

Attachment is handled by ADM’s patented QD Auto Lock lever system, which self-adjusts to clamp consistently across both in-spec and out-of-spec rail systems. The lever can be oriented to lock toward the muzzle or the receiver depending on preference, and adjustment requires nothing more than a finger or a flat-blade screwdriver — no proprietary tools. Return-to-zero is maintained across removal and reinstallation cycles, which is the core practical argument for a QD mount over a fixed ring system.
