Description

American Defense Manufacturing built the AD-RMR-LW around shooters who want a genuinely lightweight quick-detach mount without trading away the rigidity that keeps a red dot on zero. The entire body is machined from 6061-T6 aluminum and finished in Hard Coat Type III Mil-Spec anodize — a process that produces a surface hard enough to resist the kind of abrasion and corrosion that wears through softer finishes over time in field use.

The mount is cut to accept the Trijicon RMR footprint, which means it also fits the SRO and any other optic sharing that same bolt pattern. Low-profile height places the optic at a co-witness or lower 1/3 co-witness position over a standard Picatinny rail, so your iron sights remain visible through or just below the glass rather than being buried behind it — useful when you need a fast transition back to irons.

The QD Auto-Lock lever is the functional centerpiece. It clamps to the M1913 Picatinny rail and can be set to lock by pushing either toward the muzzle or toward the shooter, depending on which direction feels more natural for your draw and workspace. Critically, the mechanism is designed to accommodate rails that run outside Mil-Spec tolerances, so it does not rely on a perfectly dimensioned rail to achieve a solid lock. Detachment is fast enough for a mid-stage swap between platforms without tools. The left-hand lever orientation on this specific variant positions the release on the port side of the receiver, which suits shooters who prefer to work the lock without breaking their firing grip.
