Description

The Arisaka Defense Indexer for M-LOK handguards is a small, purposeful accessory built around a specific grip technique: placing it between the index and middle finger of the support hand rather than wrapping the hand around it or pressing the palm against it. That finger-index placement naturally pushes the support hand further forward on the handguard, which keeps it clear of the receiver and out of the way when the shooter drops to kneeling or prone and the support hand pulls rearward instinctively. The result is a more consistent hand position shot to shot without having to think about it consciously.

The wider, flatter profile that defines this design — as opposed to a narrow cylindrical hand stop — also makes it effective as a barricade stop when shooting around cover, giving the support hand a stable reference point against a vertical or horizontal surface. That same geometry doubles as a forward limit on shorter handguards, keeping fingers from sliding forward past the muzzle end and onto a hot barrel or suppressor.

Arisaka machines the Indexer from 6061-T6 aluminum and finishes it in MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize, the same specification used for mil-spec rifle components. Installation requires an IP25/T25 Torx wrench, which is not included. The Indexer mounts directly to any standard M-LOK handguard slot with no adapter needed. At 0.6 oz, it adds no meaningful weight to the rifle. Made in the USA.
