The Arisaka Defense QD Mount gives you a clean, secure sling attachment point on any M-LOK handguard without adding meaningful bulk to the rifle. It sits low against the rail surface, so there is no protruding socket to snag gear or shift the balance of the gun. That low-profile geometry matters most on shorter handguards where space is already limited and every millimeter of clearance counts.

The mount’s anti-rotation interface is the mechanical detail worth understanding here. Standard QD sockets let a swivel spin freely under load, which means your sling can torque, bind, or shift position as you move. The anti-rotation feature locks the swivel’s orientation relative to the mount, so the sling stays indexed where you set it. This is particularly useful when running a two-point sling in a dynamic shooting context, where consistent sling tension and position directly affect how quickly you can transition the rifle.

Compatibility extends to standard QD sling swivels and also to the Geissele/ALG Defense forged QD sling swivel, which has a larger, more robust socket body than most standard swivels. The mount accommodates that without modification. Construction is 6061-T651 aluminum, keeping weight at 0.3 oz — light enough that you are unlikely to notice it on the scale. The Flat Dark Earth anodized finish matches common FDE handguard and accessory colors and provides corrosion resistance for field use. Installation drops straight into M-LOK slots with no drilling or permanent modification to the handguard.
