MAGPUL RSA QD RAIL SLING ATTACHMENT

Description

The RSA QD is a sling attachment point designed for shooters who run a two-point sling on a Picatinny-railed rifle or carbine and want quick-detach capability at the forward end. It clamps directly onto a 1913 Picatinny rail section, so no drilling, no additional hardware, and no modification to the host firearm is required.

The socket is set at a deliberate angle rather than straight up or straight out. That geometry matters in practice: when a two-point sling is routed through the attachment, the webbing lies naturally against the forearm rather than torquing the mount or creating an awkward pressure point during a patrol carry. The angle also keeps the QD release button accessible without having to rotate the rifle or dig around under the handguard — you can disengage the sling with one hand in a normal shooting grip.

Construction is corrosion-resistant steel throughout, which is the appropriate material here — a sling attachment takes sustained mechanical load whenever the rifle is carried, and it needs to resist both the repeated stress of push-button cycling and whatever weather the shooter operates in. Magpul designed the RSA QD specifically around the MS4 sling’s hardware, though it accepts any standard push-button QD swivel. Made in the U.S.A.
