Description
The Arisaka Defense Aimpoint Acro Mount Mk2 is built for shooters running an Aimpoint Acro P-1 or P-2 on a Picatinny-railed host, whether that’s an AR-15 carbine, a PCC, or an optics-ready pistol. It also accepts any optic sharing the Acro footprint, such as the Steiner MPS, so the mount isn’t locked to a single sight if your optic selection changes down the road.
The 1.93-inch height sits the optic at absolute co-witness on most AR-platform builds, placing the dot at the same focal plane as standard AR-height iron sights. That alignment lets you drive the irons and the dot interchangeably without shifting your head position, which matters when the optic battery dies or you’re transitioning between roles under time pressure. It also positions the Acro high enough to clear many suppressor housings without forcing you to cant the rifle.
The body is CNC-machined from 7075-T651 aluminum — a higher-strength alloy than the 6061 commonly used in less demanding parts — and finished in MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize, which provides meaningful abrasion and corrosion resistance rather than purely cosmetic protection. The 1.93-inch and 2.26-inch variants also incorporate an accessory interface rail designed for compatibility with future Arisaka Extendo platform accessories, so the mount can accept additional hardware without replacing the base unit. Installation onto the Picatinny rail requires a T27 or IP27 Torx driver; optic attachment uses a T10. Made in the USA.
