Description

The Arisaka Defense Vertical Grip is a forend grip designed for shooters who want a full 90-degree vertical hold on an M-LOK handguard without adding unnecessary bulk or weight to the build. It suits carbine and pistol-caliber platforms alike, particularly where a short, low-profile grip is preferable to a longer angled fore grip.

Arisaka CNC machines the grip from 6061-T6 aluminum, which keeps mass down while providing the structural integrity to handle the leverage forces a vertical grip sees during hard use. The exterior receives a MIL-A-8625 Type III hard coat anodize, a finish that meaningfully increases surface hardness and abrasion resistance compared to standard Type II anodize — relevant for a grip that sees constant hand contact and friction against gear. The radiused profile at the top transitions smoothly into the handguard surface rather than presenting a blunt edge, which reduces pressure points across the palm during extended holds.

Attachment uses two mounting screws rather than one, distributing clamping load across the M-LOK slot and reducing the chance of the grip rotating under stress. Installation requires a 3/32-inch Allen wrench, which is not included. The body is hollow with no end cap, a deliberate choice that trims weight rather than offering storage. Twin-screw retention and a short overall height make it a practical choice for compact builds where handguard real estate and front-end balance both matter.
