Description

The B5 Systems CAR-15 LS2 is a pistol grip built for shooters who want the look and feel of classic mil-surplus furniture without accepting the limitations of worn-out original parts. It suits builders putting together retro-pattern AR-15s as much as it suits minimalists who simply prefer a slimmer, more traditional profile over modern high-angle designs.

The overall form follows the traditional A2 geometry, but B5 has refined the contours for improved hand fit rather than reproducing the original tooling exactly. The material is a modern composite — constructed to MIL-SPEC standards — which gives it the durability and dimensional consistency that aging polymer originals no longer offer after decades of service. Construction is handled domestically in the United States.

One practical addition that the original A2 grip never carried is integral storage: a trapdoor compartment in the base allows you to keep a small supply of batteries, a bore-obstruction tool, or a spare firing pin retention pin close at hand without adding anything to the rifle’s exterior. It is a modest feature, but it disappears into the grip when not in use and adds no bulk to the silhouette. The grip ships in Black and installs on any standard mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver.
