Description
The B5 Systems P-Grip 22K is built for compact AR-15 configurations where standard pistol grip geometry creates awkward wrist angles. Most factory grips sit at roughly 17 degrees, which works acceptably on a full-length rifle but becomes uncomfortable on shorter builds where the shooter’s wrist is forced into a steeper bend. The 22K addresses this by moving to a 13-degree angle, allowing the wrist to sit in a more neutral position during sustained shooting or when working with a PDW-style platform.
The reduced-height profile is the other meaningful departure from standard grip design. Trimming height from the grip body lowers the palm swell away from the trigger guard, which can make a noticeable difference in how the hand seats for shooters with shorter fingers or those running the rifle in close-quarters configurations. The grip is not simply a scaled-down version of a standard grip — the geometry is purpose-shaped for compact builds rather than adapted from a full-size design.
Texture coverage is aggressive across the contact surfaces, which helps maintain a consistent hand position under recoil or when operating with gloves. B5 constructs the grip from high-strength polymer with a matte black finish that resists glare without adding weight. Installation is straightforward on any mil-spec AR-15 lower receiver. At roughly two ounces, the 22K adds almost nothing to overall rifle weight while meaningfully changing how the platform handles in a short-format role.
