The B5 Systems P-Grip is a straightforward upgrade for AR-platform rifles and pistols, aimed at shooters who want a more vertical grip angle without paying for features they don’t need. The Type 22 geometry positions the wrist at a steeper angle than a standard A2-style grip, which moves the hand higher on the frame and brings the trigger finger into a more natural index position. That combination tends to reduce wrist strain during extended sessions and makes it easier to maintain consistent trigger pull, particularly for shooters with longer fingers who find the standard grip geometry awkward.

The absence of a backstrap is a deliberate choice, not an omission. Removing it allows the palm to sit higher on the grip, increasing overall hand-to-frame contact and giving the shooter a more secure purchase under recoil. The surface texture is aggressive enough to maintain grip through wet or gloved use without becoming uncomfortable during dry handling. The grip accepts a standard battery compartment plug, keeping that storage option available for those who use it.
