It drops directly into the standard receiver without modification, so the path from box to range is short.

The barrel is machined from stress-relieved 416R stainless steel, a grade chosen for its dimensional stability under temperature swings and its resistance to fouling from rimfire ammunition, which runs dirtier than centerfire. Each bore is lapped to a smooth, consistent finish, which reduces the break-in period that rougher bores typically require before groups settle. Deviation across the bore is held to less than .0002 inches, which matters most when you’re chasing consistent point of impact at distance.

The 1:16 twist rate is matched to the velocity range and bullet weights common in standard and high-velocity .22 LR loads — it stabilizes them without over-spinning the lighter projectiles that rimfire shooters often run. The Bentz chamber geometry is the right choice for a semi-automatic platform: it’s dimensioned tighter than a standard chamber but leaves enough headspace to feed reliably through a magazine-fed action, unlike a true match chamber that can be finicky with bulk ammunition.

Muzzle threads are cut to 1/2-28 and a thread protector is included. The spiral fluting reduces weight along the tube and increases surface area, which helps shed heat during sustained strings of fire. The bead blasted stainless finish keeps the surface matte without adding a coating that could introduce inconsistency at the muzzle crown.
