Description
The BCM Gunfighter Stock Mod 0 in Flat Dark Earth is built for carbine shooters who run their rifles hard and need a stock that holds up through rough handling, malfunction drills, and confined-space work. It fits any mil-spec receiver extension, which means it drops onto the vast majority of AR-pattern carbines without modification.
The latch mechanism was redesigned from the ground up rather than iterated from a standard carbine stock. Where conventional latches bear against the receiver extension at a single point, the Gunfighter latch wraps the extension more fully, distributing stress across a wider surface. That matters specifically when mortaring a stuck case or when the rifle is dropped muzzle-down — both scenarios that put severe side-load on the latch interface.
The profile is intentionally snag-free, with no protruding hardware to catch sling hardware, plate carrier webbing, or door frames. The VBOST tab — Vehicle Borne Operations Sling Tab — gives you a dedicated anchor for a bungee or rigger’s band to park your sling flat against the stock while working inside a vehicle, keeping the sling from swinging loose when you transition in and out of a door. Two ambidextrous sling attachment points are built in, including QD swivel sockets, so southpaw shooters aren’t working around a right-hand-biased design.
The stock is polymer throughout, which keeps weight down without requiring compromises in wall thickness. A color-matched rubber butt pad is integrated into the design rather than added as an afterthought, providing positive shoulder contact during presentation. The modular architecture — five parts and one screw — means future accessory options can adapt to the same platform without replacing the whole assembly. Flat Dark Earth finish matches BCM’s other FDE components directly.
