Description

The SBA5 is built for AR-pattern pistol builds where the shooter wants a solid, adjustable interface without committing to a fixed configuration. It fits directly onto a standard mil-spec carbine receiver extension, so if your pistol is already running a mil-spec buffer tube, the SBA5 drops on without modification and works across AR-15, AR-9, and other pistol-caliber platforms built around that same tube diameter.

The five-position adjustment lets you dial in the fit based on how the firearm is being used—whether that’s a two-handed grip at the range or a more compact carry configuration. The cuff geometry is modeled after SB Tactical’s original SB15, which gives it a broader contact surface than the slimmer SBA3. That added surface area translates to a more consistent cheek or forearm interface during use, while the reinforced polymer construction keeps the overall weight reasonable for a brace in this size class. At approximately 9.5 oz, it sits heavier than the SBA3 but lighter than the SBA4, which reflects the trade-off: more structural rigidity than the minimalist SBA3 without the full bulk of the SBA4’s reinforced design.
