The grip is intentionally angled rather than straight down. That angle shifts the wrist into a more neutral position, which stiffens the forearm and reduces fatigue during extended holds. It also opens up the option to mount the grip in reverse, swept toward the shooter, which changes the grip geometry entirely and suits a more pulled-in support-hand technique or a thumb-over-bore hold where the grip functions more as a indexing reference than a full vertical handle.

Flat side panels are a deliberate choice rather than a purely aesthetic one — they give the support hand more surface area to push or pull against laterally, which matters during one-handed manipulations and transitions.
