Description

The BCM Gunfighter Vertical Grip Mod 3 is a short-profile foregrip built for shooters who want a more deliberate and stable grip on a Picatinny-railed handguard without the bulk of a full-length vertical grip. The reduced length keeps the hand closer to the rail surface, which lowers the snag profile and gives you more freedom of movement in confined spaces or when transitioning between positions.

The grip ships with a slight forward cant rather than a true vertical angle. That geometry does two things: it rotates the wrist into a more neutral position, which reduces fatigue during extended holds, and it increases forearm tension in a way that helps manage muzzle movement during rapid fire. If you prefer a rearward cant instead, the mounting system accommodates that orientation as well, which can be useful when using the grip more as a handguard index point than a pull surface.

BCM’s mounting approach here departs from the simple bolt-and-nut systems common on most rail accessories. A T15 Torx driver retracts an internal anchor that, once the grip is positioned on the rail, expands to bear against the underside of the Picatinny slots rather than just clamping from below. That spreads the retention load across more of the rail interface, reducing the flex and shift that can develop under recoil with simpler designs. Torque target is approximately 18–20 inch-pounds plus a quarter turn. The grip is covered by US Patent 9,709,358.

At 1.9 ounces and molded from impact-resistant polymer, it adds negligible weight to the host platform. The flat sides carry an aggressive texture that gives meaningful yaw control during both live-fire and administrative handling. Made in the USA.
