Description
The BCM Modular Scout Light Mount in KeyMod gives you a clean, purpose-built way to run a SureFire Scout Light on a KeyMod handguard without the bulk of a full rail section. Rather than adding a Picatinny segment and then mounting the light to that, this mount interfaces directly with the KeyMod slots, which keeps the overall profile tighter and reduces snag points — a meaningful difference when the light sits at the 3 or 9 o’clock position and you are running your support hand close to it.
The design is fully ambidextrous: it can mount flush against the handguard or cantilever off either side, and the six available hole positions let you dial in the exact fore-and-aft placement for your grip and switch preference. The recoil lug screw placement shifts depending on which side you install it on, so read the installation steps before you torque anything down. BCM specifies 30 in-lbs for the mounting screws and recommends blue thread-locking compound on those threads for long-term retention under firing.
Construction is aluminum, which is why the whole assembly adds only half an ounce. That weight figure matters when you are already managing a light, a sling mount, and a grip on a short handguard. The mount carries a US patent and was designed with a low-profile, snag-free geometry — no protruding hardware to catch gear or a support hand under stress.
Compatibility covers the M300 Mini, M600AA, M600 Ultra, M600P Fury, M300V Mini, and M600V. The M620V, M620P Fury, and M620 Ultra use a different mounting interface and will not work with this mount.
