Description

The BCM GUNFIGHTER Mod 1 SOPMOD stock is built for shooters who want a purpose-driven upgrade over a standard carbine stock — particularly those running an AR-platform rifle in configurations that demand a more substantial cheek weld and onboard storage. Where a basic mil-spec stock offers a narrow, featureless profile, the Mod 1 widens the body to a SOPMOD-style geometry that gives you a more consistent cheek-to-stock contact point across a range of shooting positions and gear setups. That wider surface becomes especially useful when shooting with body armor or a plate carrier, where head positioning tends to shift outward.

The stock is machined from lightweight polymer and deliberately deburred throughout, so there are no edges to snag on a sling, chest rig, or other kit during a transition. A modular VBOST tab on the stock body lets you secure a sling against the stock when the rifle is not in use — a practical detail for vehicle work or confined-space movement. Sling attachment options are ambidextrous, with QD swivel sockets on both sides, so left- and right-handed shooters can run the same setup without adapters.

Storage is built into the toe of the stock and accessed through the hinged butt pad — a logical place for batteries or small tools because the compartment stays closed and protected during normal handling. The body is also lengthened relative to the Mod 0, making it compatible with AR-10 and A5 receiver extensions in addition to standard carbine tubes.
