Description

The SBA3 is SB Tactical’s most widely adopted adjustable AR pistol brace, built for shooters who want a compact, lightweight setup without sacrificing the ability to dial in fit. It slips onto any mil-spec carbine receiver extension, which means it works across the full range of AR-15, AR-9, and other AR-pattern pistol builds without requiring a proprietary buffer tube or additional hardware.

The five-position adjustment system lets you shorten the overall package for storage or vehicle use, then extend it to suit a more comfortable shooting stance — the same practical range you get from a standard carbine stock, but on a brace designed for pistol-format firearms. Where the SBA4 trades some weight for a more rigid, reinforced shell, the SBA3 keeps its exterior profile slim and its weight at approximately 6.75 ounces, making it the right call when overall firearm weight is a genuine concern rather than an afterthought.

Construction is reinforced polymer throughout, keeping the profile narrow — approximately two inches at its widest — so the brace doesn’t add visual or physical bulk to a build that’s meant to stay compact. An integral ambidextrous QD sling socket is built directly into the body, giving you a solid sling attachment point on either side without threading on an adapter or sacrificing a rail slot. Designed by veterans and manufactured in the USA, the SBA3 ships in Black; FDE and OD Green variants are also available if your build calls for a specific finish.
