The BCM Mod 3 Stock is built around a straightforward premise: a fighting carbine stock should not get in the way. Informed by overseas contingency use, BCM stripped the design down to what matters — a snag-free profile that moves cleanly in and out of vehicles, through doorways, and under kit without catching on anything. At 6.4 ounces, the weight savings over a heavier stock are real enough to matter over a long day on your feet.

The double-walled H-Beam construction is the structural answer to going light without going fragile. Rather than a solid polymer body or a simple hollow shell, the internal H-Beam geometry distributes stress through the walls so the stock holds up under the lateral and torsional loads that come with normal hard use. The removable buttpad uses a solid diamond texture pattern, which is optimized for high-ready weapons manipulation — the surface grips without snagging, and it comes off without tools when you want to swap it.

For shooters running electro-optics or low-powered variable optics, particularly for passive night vision work, the Mod 3 is designed to accept BCM’s optional M3 marksman risers. These add comb height so your cheek weld stays consistent regardless of where your optic sits. The stock also includes horizontal and vertical sling attachment points that are directly compatible with the BCM MCMR-SM Quick Detachable Sling Mount, though any standard sling will work out of the box. The internal latch system — covered under U.S. Patent No. 9,109,855 — features an ergonomic lever for one-handed position changes and tool-less removal from the buffer tube.
