Description

The SBA4 is SB Tactical’s reinforced adjustable pistol stabilizing brace, built for AR-pattern pistol builds where structural rigidity matters more than shaving ounces. It fits any mil-spec carbine receiver extension, which means it drops onto the same buffer tube geometry used across the vast majority of AR-15, AR-9, and similar pistol-caliber builds without any modification or adapter work.

Where the SBA3 prioritizes a slim, lightweight profile, the SBA4 trades some of that minimalism for a more robust, rigidized construction — a meaningful difference if you’re running a heavier barrel, a suppressor up front, or any configuration that puts more stress on the rear of the receiver. The reinforced polymer keeps the brace from flexing under load, which translates to a more consistent cheek weld position across all five adjustment settings.

Those five positions give you enough range to dial in fit across different shooting contexts — closer for a compressed hold, extended for a more deliberate stance — and the adjustment locks positively rather than drifting under recoil. The integral ambidextrous QD sling socket is built into the brace itself, so you’re not threading an aftermarket adapter onto a buffer tube end plate to get a quick-detach attachment point. It works from either side without swapping hardware.

The SBA4 is made in the USA and was designed by US veterans. It’s available in Black, FDE, and OD Green. At approximately 10 oz it adds modest weight to a build, but for shooters who want a durable, no-compromise brace on a working AR pistol, that trade-off is straightforward.
