Description

The BCM Mod 3 Stock is designed for shooters who want a no-compromise collapsible stock that holds up under hard use without adding unnecessary weight or snag points. At 6.4 ounces, it sits at the lighter end of what a full-featured carbine stock can be, and the double-walled H-beam internal construction is how BCM gets there without sacrificing rigidity — the geometry distributes load across the shell rather than relying on wall thickness alone.

The buttpad is solid, diamond-textured, and removable. That texture matters when the stock is pressed into a shoulder under a plate carrier or heavy clothing, where a smooth pad would skate. The non-slip side panels serve a related purpose for supported shooting positions where the rifle rests against a barricade or pack. Neither feature is decorative.

Sling integration is handled through both horizontal and vertical attachment points built into the stock body. These accept slings of any configuration directly, and they also serve as the interface for BCM’s MCMR-SM Quick Detachable Sling Mount if a more dedicated QD setup is preferred. The patented internal latch mechanism includes an ergonomic lever that allows one-handed length adjustment without tools, and the same system allows the stock to be removed from the buffer tube without any additional hardware.

Where the Mod 3 gains additional capability is through compatibility with BCM’s M3 Marksman Stock Risers, sold separately. Those risers clip onto the stock’s comb and raise cheek weld height to suit optics — particularly useful when running an LPVO or night vision-compatible setup that sits higher than iron sight height. The stock ships in Flat Dark Earth and is manufactured in the United States.
