At 5.80 pounds, it sits at the light end of the B-14 lineup, and that weight reduction comes from genuine material choices rather than trimmed features. The stock is Bergara’s RTM carbon fiber in a classic sporter profile — a construction method that bonds layers of carbon fiber under high pressure for stiffness that resists the flex a wood or synthetic stock can develop under temperature and humidity changes, keeping the action bedded consistently across conditions.

The barrel is Bergara’s CURE carbon fiber unit, which wraps a steel core in carbon fiber to shed weight while maintaining the rigidity that matters for shot-to-shot consistency. The 1-in-9″ twist rate is well-suited to the lighter bullet weights that .22-250 Remington shooters typically run for varmint and predator work — roughly 40 to 55 grain projectiles stabilize reliably at that rate without the over-stabilization that a faster twist can impose on lighter projectiles, which can open up groups.
