Description

The Bergara B-14 Cima CF is built for hunters who cover ground on foot and need a rifle that won’t punish them for it. As the lightest rifle in Bergara’s B-14 lineup at six pounds, it is designed around the demands of extended stalking and backcountry carry, where every ounce matters by the end of the day.

The stock is molded from carbon fiber using an RTM process, which produces a shell that is both rigid and dimensionally stable across temperature and humidity swings — relevant when a rifle moves between a cold morning and a warm afternoon. Length of pull is adjustable via three quarter-inch spacers, so the fit can be dialed to the shooter rather than accepted as-is. The receiver is steel, drilled and tapped for scope mounting, and finished in Sniper Gray Cerakote for corrosion resistance in wet field conditions.

The barrel is a Bergara CURE carbon fiber unit with a spiral flute pattern. Carbon wrapping over a steel liner dissipates heat more quickly than a comparable steel barrel, which matters when a second shot needs to land close to the first after a stalk ends in a hurry. The muzzle is threaded and fitted with an Omni Muzzle Brake, which redirects propellant gas to reduce rearward push and muzzle rise. The fast 1:7.5-inch twist rate is optimized for the longer, heavier projectiles that the .25 Creedmoor cartridge handles well at extended range.

The trigger is Remington 700 style, which means the aftermarket for drop-in replacements is wide if a shooter wants to tune pull weight further. The floorplate is hinged for conventional use but the bottom metal is inlet for M5 DBM conversion, so AICS-compatible magazines become an option without significant gunsmithing work. No sights are included; the receiver is set up for optics.
